Hedgehogs have undergone a dramatic decline across Britain. In 2013 Warwickshire Wildlife Trust launched the Help for Hedgehogs campaign in response to the worrying trend being seen across both Warwickshire and the country as a whole.
Since the launch of the campaign Help for Hedgehogs has been raising funds and awareness for the cause and in March 2015 launched the next phase of the project; the UK’s first area designated for hedgehog conservation, Solihull Hedgehog Improvement Area.
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust aims to protect and enhance wildlife, natural habitats and geology throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, and to encourage a greater awareness, appreciation and participation in all aspects of nature conservation and the environment.
We are the leading local conservation charity with over 23,000 members dedicated to supporting our vital work for nature conservation across the county.
